The Punchestown Festival kicks off on Tuesday and Garry Owen picks out his tips as well as Ayr's evening meeting, Nottingham, Brighton and Yarmouthhttps://t.co/vlmtMbI69dpic.twitter.com/HQjvHbjktR
Best way to start the week is with a runner for @RichardFaheyERC with My Little Queens at Nottingham. Give her a cheer for me anyone going. Safe home girl #thoseears#teamfahey 🖤🧡 pic.twitter.com/jX3HkBpkw0
There are nearly 1 million people in Nottingham. Nothing wrong with the track with good facilities and attracts some good horses, particularly maidens. Crowds are abysmal, really can’t understand it. https://t.co/hIP4epzS98
Well who’d of thought it? I’m rubbing shoulders with Templegate (probably not the real one) at the top of The Guardian’s “Talking Horses” weekly naps competition. Many thanks to Oh So Saucy (12/1) & Curtains (11/1) for landing me the top spot.
As I’m very short of material and naps today I’m going to advise following my Guardian entries all eachway today. Let’s hope this isn’t the ultimate jinx:
2.50 Nott- Sharp Eclipse
3.25 Nott- Space War
3.50 Newc- Luv U Noo
In the Champions League tonight I’m not often a punter on Glasgow Rangers but I think they look a superb home bet @ 2.2 Betfair. I can see the Turkish outfit Yeşil Timsahlar being severely intimidated.
I'm Steve Mullington from Rochdale. My blog is about the ups & downs of a regular punter and sports fan. A place to come to share ideas, tips and of course-friendly banter!
