Our Max (S Foley, 10/3 the grey, second left) was the only winner for the blog yesterday at the spectacular Laytown meeting.  If you want to see an amazing set of pictures from the race day click on the actual picture above.

Speaking of racing on the sand, well almost sand- synthetic surfaces. Do any of you get along to the Kempton evening meetings? Did you know they are free for BetBright customers? Click on the picture below for further details.

C’mon let’s do the Tsonga

A pretty poop day yesterday on the tipping front at Stratford. Some wonderful rides from Liam Treadwell on the night left me kicking myself for sure.

It’s quarter finals day for the men at Wimbledon and my main bet is on the set betting between Djokovic and Lu. This looks certain to be 3-0 or 3-1 to Novak and I have weighted my cash with the greater emphasis on 3-0, with 3-1 being more of a safety net bet.

So when will Murray mint throw in his bad match? Well the previous omens would say today. Tsonga is a little terrier and if he gets the bit in his teeth I reckon he could push Muzza all the way and perhaps topple him. I’ve therefore backed Tsonga 3-0,3-1,3-2 with a saver on Murray 3-2. Some tasty set prices on Tsonga might look big in hindsight this evening.

It’s Tsonga night for sure 😉
