This morning I’ve been looking across several weather forecasting websites and it looks pretty much certain we’re going to have some juice in the ground this week for Aintree. Nothing on a Noah’s Ark scale will arrive but the rainfall on Friday looks pretty significant. Girls, if you’re reading bring an umbrella for Ladies Day. It looks like being the essential accessory.
The Flat season kicked off nicely for the blog yesterday. Brae Hill (D Nolan, 10/1) was the brave winner of the Spring Mile and there were also places on the day for Paddy Again (Mr R While, 9/1), Yourartisonfire (P Makin, 28/1), Tullius (Oisin Murphy, 7/1 jf) & Outlaw Torn (Connor Beasley, 10/1).
That win for Brae Hill actually put me to the top of the Betdaq Monthly Tipping Competition with two days to go and also gave me the best priced tip of the day prize too. I just hope I’m not peaking too early before Thursday 😀
