Towcester Toweling

I am meant to be going to York Races this Thursday for the Dante Meeting however two things are putting me off going. The first reason being the weather. There is nothing worse than shivering your bits off for an entire day on what supposedly is meant to be the month of May. April showers bring May flowers right? The second reason being the solo trips. I have very limited opportunities these days to get away due to commitments at home however when I can get away nobody is available to travel with me or people struggle to make a concerted effort at the venue to meet up. It’s something I’m beginning to find a little soul destroying as I love my racing very much but the loneliness of solo tripping gnaws away at me immensely.

Apologies for no blog post on Sunday. If I’m honest I think blog posts on a Sunday over spring/summer will be somewhat of a rarity as I have team and representative matches every weekend.

Just one winner for the blog on Saturday at Haydock when Battle Group (Mr B J Powell, 13/2) took the opening race on what has been a fantastic season for the horse.

Today’s fancies are at Towcester:

5.25 Towc- Crack At Dawn & Prince Pippin (e/w).

6.00 Towc- River D’Or (e/w).

6.30 Towc- Paddy Partridge (e/w).

7.00 Towc- Goat Castle & Prizefighter (e/w).

7.30 Towc- Double Silver (e/w).

8.00 Towc- Smiling Lady (e/w).

8.30 Towc- Son Of Susie & Little John (e/w).

Should I stay or should I go now...

Should I stay or should I go now?

If I go there will be trouble! 😉
