A fairly pleasing day yesterday at York when we certainly won more than tiddlywinks overall on the day. Mulaqen (P Hanagan, 8-1 ) whom I suggested at 12/1 in the morning comfortably won by 2 1/4 lengths easing down. In the feature race -The Duke Of York, my selections, The Cheka (N Callan, 9-1 ) & Society Rock (K Fallon, 8-1 ) were both placed a head and a neck behind Tiddliwinks. Earlier in the afternoon Ontoawinner syndicate horse Fast Shot (D Allan, 25-1 ) ran a cracker to be placed third in the sprint race.
