I was hoping normal service would resume yesterday but the hits didn’t come at Carlisle. One or two placed horses but nothing substantial. I personally missed the £1,100 placepot on the last leg when Getinbybutonlyjust pulled up lame. Usually I follow Indy Mood (3rd) religiously but due to my staking plan I left myself with just one selection in the last leg-schoolboy error!

A superb day yesterday of naps at Kelso. Two good priced winners, which was almost four.

Today is Remembrance Sunday. I personally tend to leave gambling alone for this day and use the time for private reflection and contemplation.

A great day at Chepstow yesterday with the highlight being the gamble on Green Belt Elite. When I napped it on here it was approximately 22.0 on Betfair and I believe it’s finishing S.P was  11/2 2nd fav. I even comprehensively landed my Champions League nap. Happy Days!

Today, I was torn between Haydock & Towcester for some selections. However, I think the fields may cut up at Haydock so Towcester it is.

Just a couple of small football interests today and one of them is the Under 17’s World Cup.

Surprise package Burkina Faso are up against the Spanish in the knockout stages and today might be one step too far for the African squad. But they are a tenacious team and backing the win & draw doesn’t seem too silly. (Burkina Faso 13.0, Draw 5.1 on Betfair).

My other selection is in the UEFA Europa League and I feel that Hamburg (1.53) could hand out a spanking to Celtic tonight.

I enjoyed Towcester today

Not too bad a day yesterday at Exeter. In fact the first race was dreamland when I layed the favourite and picked the winner. I noticed many runners in the Haldon Gold Cup were very unfit and I’ve added many to my nagME alerts as they are sure to come on from the run.

Today, my focus is on Chepstow. Let’s see if I can find a few stamina horses for that long home straight.
