I’m happy to report this morning that the placepot attempt at Wolverhampton yesterday came up trumps and you can read all the analysis over on my other blog Purposeful Placepottery if you so wish.
The horses that contributed to the placepot success in terms of winners were Maypole Joe (G Gibbons, 4-1), Red Somerset (K T O’Neill, Evens fav) & Exning Halt (T Eaves, 2-7 fav). With places on the board from Desert Strike (Mr W Twiston-Davies, 14-1 ), Strong Man (G Gibbons, 9-4), Alborz (S W Kelly, 9-2 ) & This Ones For Eddy (D Tudhope, 13-2 ). Even the seventh race I managed a second place with On The Hoof (Matthew Hopkins, 15-2 ) on what turned out to be a thoroughly pleasing afternoon.
