Unowatimeen & Turko battle out the finish
The sky literally went black during the last race at Haydock yesterday as the Hunter Chasers slogged it out through the driving hailstone. In my wisdom I decided to watch the race from the rails and got rather a cold pelting in return. I can only have admiration for the riders and horses as the race was run in one of the worst racing conditions I’ve witnessed in many a year.
Hedgehunter meets Tommo
Hedgehunter was a picture of health as he was paraded to his fans. The poor lad had to endure an interview with Tommo which didn’t appear to dampen his spirits one bit. In fact he was bucking his distinctive white rear hoof and enjoying being a crowd pleaser again.
